I get around.

I've traveled from sea to shining sea photographing families, empowering women and helping individuals elevate their brand. With a background in editorial photography and specializing in both natural candid portraits as well as posed sessions we're sure to create a personalized experience that's as unique as you.

I started photographing after rupturing my spleen while I was in high school.  Yea, it sounds made up, but I swear I'm telling the truth.  I was in marching band and happened to fall on my saxophone.  This incident made it impossible for me to march for the remainder of the season.  So, I did what any bored high school teenager does - started taking self portraits (at that time the word "selfie" was not invented).  Turns out, I really enjoyed it!  I started photographing everything & everyone.  After graduation, I headed to Shepherd University for photography & digital imagery.  My passion continued to grow as I started to photograph more conceptual themes, primarily the way women are viewed in modern media and the over editing that happens in the fashion industry (which is now common in social media as well).

This is what has influenced and inspired my current work.  As a portrait photographer I notice so many of my subjects either have things they want me to edit out, change or they just completely feel uncomfortable in their own skin.  That's where I come in.  I work to make every individual feel beautiful, comfortable and proud of who they are.

If you decide to give me the honor to photograph you, you can expect a lot of jokes, laughter and a session that feels more like a hang out rather than a posed, studio photo shoot.  Let's get hype.

let's get deeper

What's your go-to sweet : Ice cream, specifically Dairy Queen M&M Blizzard

Favorite weekend hobby : Road trips, Hiking, cruising on my electric bike

Favorite clothing item : Denim fringe jacket with my lover's name on the back

Favorite spot to camp : Sedona, AZ

How do I make clients feel comfortable : Pre-session conversations, laughter & sharing my own vulnerabilities

One thing I struggle with is : Self-criticism. Hands down it's a daily challenge that I'm constantly working at.

If I won the lottery I would : Retire my parents, start a pitbull sanctuary and travel the country providing pay-what-you-can services to anyone called to work with me.

My heros are : My parents. Their constant love and support through all of my ups and downs is nothing short of extraordinary. From supporting me fully when I came out to listening and advising me on my crazy life & business decisions, I wouldn't be here today without them.
